ELCA Day of Service: "God's Work, Our Hands"
Seventy-five quilts were blessed and sent with our love through Lutheran World Relief along with numerous school kits.
Thank you to our Project Day crew who worked all year to create these beautiful quilts to send to refugee camps and areas impacted by natural disasters. To quote one volunteer, "these quilts were made with much love and much laughter." The quilts are sent with our love to provide warmth, comfort, and shade. The school kits provide the essentials students need to receive a life-changing education.
In addition a crew of over forty volunteers pitched in to clean our kitchen and clean up debris in our parking lot and sidewalk next to the warehouse.
Zion showed up in force and we are thankful for all who contributed!
