Announcements

VOICE Deadline:

Normally the 15th of every month, however the folding/ mailing will conflict with Thanksgiving, so we are asking to receive your articles by Monday, November 13th. We will have a combined VOICE for Dec 2017/ Jan 2018, so please get everything through January 2018 to Susan Mykrantz, and Assisting Ministers to Joellen Fields, by tomorrow! Thank you!!

Salvation Army Bell Ringing: Saturday, November 18th from 9:00 a.m.- 9:00 p.m.

Please sign-up in Room 100/ 200 for your 1 hour time slot. (Available time slots are 7 & 8pm.)

Stewardship Campaign:

The 2018 Proposed Annual Budget link has been emailed to our members via Glad Tidings; is available on our website at www.zionlutheran-wooster.org, and paper copies are available in Rooms 100/200.

Congregational Meetings:

We will hold a gathering after the 8:45 a.m. and the 10:45 a.m. services on Sunday, November 19th. Members are welcome to attend either or both meetings.

Thanksgiving Break:

We pray you have a safe and happy Thanksgiving. The office will be closed on Thursday November 23rd. Joellen will also be out of the office on Friday. If anyone would like to volunteer from 9am- noon to do light office work, such as answering the phones, we’d greatly appreciate it!

People-to-People Christmas Toy Drive:

2017 Christmas Toy Project Volunteer Sign-up Sheets & Wish Lists are in Rooms 100/ 200.

Please bring items in by Sunday, November 26. Thank you for your generosity.

Church Decorating Preparation:

Many hands are needed on Sunday, November 26th following the 10:45 a.m. worship service to carry the decorations from their basement storage room to the sanctuary. All are welcome to help!

Church Decorating: Wednesday Nov. 29th

Come one, come all, to help deck the halls of the church building for the season of hope! With the renovation, we’d like to refresh our décor as well, with a color scheme focusing on the color blue, the color of hope. We will start at 10:00a.m.
